An anniversary festival

As you already know, this year marks the 35th anniversary of hessnatur. Now, I know it’s a long way from the New World, but everybody loves a good party, so I thought I’d share ours with you. Consider yourself our vicarious guest!

Filled with smiling, happy faces on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the garden surrounding our showroom in Butzbach was scattered with colleagues and their families, from headquarters as well as our additional showrooms in Hamburg and Munich. Even our Swiss customer care team from Langenthal made it up for the event – a great summer festival, celebrated with lots of hands-on activities.

I really enjoyed “Cool Breeze’s” live music. And resident chef Thomas Wolf and his team once again outdid themselves. Scrumptious! The program was full of fun, like games with Ichmael the Clown, drumming circles, archery, and building a tipi out of willow shafts. The willow shafts will actually take root, so the tipi will become a growing part of the garden in the years to come (as a matter of fact, we should document our tipi as it grows and keep you posted on the blog!).

One of the highlights of the festival – a photograph of hessnatur’s logo from a helicopter: green umbrella in hand, each and every one of us marched out onto the headquarters courtyard and formed hessnatur’s logo as a group. We got a great picture out of it, which I think expresses more than the letters themselves. Have a look for yourself!
