Dear hessnatur fans,

We, that is Nora and Samira, are traveling to Peru as ambassadors for you! But before we introduce ourselves, we’d first like to thank everyone who voted for us from the bottom of our hearts!

Naturally, as trained seamstresses and budding apparel production specialists, we are especially interested in seeing the production facilities in Peru, to find out what sort of working conditions exist there, and to write about what we find there for you.

We live in the german city of Nuremberg, in a very culturally open quarter called Gostenhof, where we both feel quite at home. At the moment, our lives revolve around our education, for the most part. But, of course, there is always a bit of space for leisure time, which is usually spent simply getting out into nature and enjoying it for what it is.

Nora (on the right) likes to dabble with photography, and is a passionate gardener. Summer greenery slowly engulfs her windows, making for little light on the inside, but a great harvest on the outside. Samira (on the left) has created the best of spaces in her apartment to try out new recipes and practice her yoga.

Our dream is to be self-employed and produce fair and ecological fashions. hessnatur is the the best example of how this can be possible, and we’re both very excited to see how hessnatur puts its philosophy in to action. We can’t wait till we’re off!

In order to prepare for the trip, we’ve been invited to hessnatur, where there is still much to learn before we go. Of course, we’ll share what we learn with you, and next time there will even be a video!
