The You are What You Wear Contest: Day Two
The winner of the hessnatur/planetgreen.com Eco-Tee Challenge, Lindsay Seligman, California designer, created this special tee with one simple line depicting creatures of the earth forming the message “One Life”.
The tee is pure organic cotton from our organic farming project in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Produced at Grameen Knitwear in Bangladesh, part of the network founded by Dr. Muhammad Yunus, recipient of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize, the tee is made with the highest social standards.

This tee reflects my philosophy that all life on earth is part of one living, breathing organism. Each choice we make in our own lives – however seemingly small or insignificant – has implications reaching far and wide. If we come to respect this oneness and make thoughtful choices every day, we can live this “one life” that we all share in harmony for the greater good.

This shirt speaks to me because we are all given one shot at life! We must all do our part for the earth and the animals! We must respect the earth! We should always strive to help each other and take care to do no harm!
